Step 1.Startup Repair from the Windows Recovery Environment(WinRE) Pressing F8, and then selecting 'Repair my computer', will boot into this WinRE partition. Have you tried the advanced boot options from the F8 menu? Win7, creates a small WinRE restore partition with all installs. Without any sort of backup it is tough to rebuild something like the registry from scratch. Reinstall the final release product of Windows 7 and move your data back over.

I am not sure how to repair the Registry outright, aside of reinstalling but your could mount the drive to another working machine and copy your data over. I have been using it for at least 6 months. I was running out of space and accidentally deleted ALL of the backups instead of just the oldest ones. So my QUESTION IS: How do I manage to repair this corrupt registry? Are there any tools out there yet for Win 7 like UBCD4W for XP? Can some one tell me what I am missing? It also says that Startup Repair cannot fix this PC. It manages to do a start up repair but tells me that I have a corrupt registry and to contact the administrator. I have a list of Win 7 commands, but I cannot access the C drive.
